One pattern plus one variation equals unlimited design possibilities.
Join Beth Stone for a fun-filled afternoon creating beaded balls, beaded balls and more beaded balls.
This is NOT a beginner class. A knowledge of Right Angle Weave will be helpful. You should be comfortable working with three-dimensional shapes.
She will begin with a basic pattern and then encourage you to use different bead shapes and sizes to create your own tiny (or maybe not so tiny) works of beaded art.
Please bring a strand of 4mm fire-polished beads (a matte or opaque finish is highly suggested) and a coordinating or contrasting color of an 8/0 bead to learn the basics.
Beth likes to use a wide variety of beads, such as 6/0 round, 11/0 round, 8/0 round, 6mm round, 4mm round, spiky button beads, pip beads, pinch beads, drop beads, Rizo beads, cornerless hematite beads, Demi-round beads (11 and 8) and long Magatama beads (for the more advanced beader).
IF there is time, and at her discretion, for the advanced beader, she will discuss how to use Nib bit beads.
