This class session will be held virtually via Zoom on Sunday, August 17th from 2:00-6:00 EST. Please ensure you have experience with this format prior to registering. We will also be considering scheduling an in person option at our store: 1214 W Michigan Ave. Reach out if you are interested in taking this workshop in person!

This design is meant to be used in roughly 3” sections that you can then put between other components. Unlike a longer version of freeform peyote, this project is an easier introduction because you do not have to create every curve with your stitching alone. There are many ways to utilize this creative technique, I hope you enjoy this version!

Is this project right for you? Do you have an understanding of basic Peyote stitch, and have recently and successfully used it in a project? That's the only thing we ask as a prerequisite for students, but the more Peyote stitches and practice you have under your belt, the easier time you will have!

Cassandra will be creating a customized kit for every student! Your Kit (Additional Purchase, $64.99) will be billed after class registration, please select desired kit styles from drop down menu before making your class purchase. Supplies included:

  • 1 large & several smaller focals, including Czech glass, semi precious stones and unique pewter shapes
  • Chain, Clasp, Hammered rings, and Jump Rings in chosen metal
  • 10gr packets of size 11/o Seed Beads in 3 colors
  • 3 additional packets of coordinating beads for each size 11/o, these will be a fabulous mix of other seed bead sizes, fire polish, shaped seeds, and one of a kind items
  • Printed copy of instructions
  • Coordinating/Neutral spool of OneG thread

Additional Supplies Required, not included in either purchase price, but available through BTLB if you don't already have it:

  • Size 11 & 12 Beading Needle
  • Beading mat or work surface
  • sharp scissors
