About these classes
Your kit from Kelly includes everything needed to create five porcelain focal eyes:
• Five bisques
• Blue underglaze and clear glaze
• Four brushes, a small tray, and watercolor test paper
• Safe packaging with a return label
You have the opportunity to make up to 5 pieces in Kelly's class out of which 2 will be used in Kinga's class. All bisques arrive with your initials glazed on the back so your finished work is always identifiable. Kelly fires your focals three times to achieve the correct finish, including a final firing with 22K white gold luster. Cooling time is required between firings, which is why Kinga's class is scheduled at a later date, when you will receive your finished pieces In Person. You will also receive lifetime access to Kelly's detailed video instruction that guides you through every step from clay to finished focal.
Important Safety Information:
It is absolutely essential that you use only the glazes and underglaze provided in your kit. Kelly's kiln runs on a specific firing schedule. Using any other paint, glaze, product, or material can damage the kiln and destroy every focal inside it. Participation in the class requires your agreement to use only the materials supplied.
Kinga's kit includes beads, additional focals, Swarovski crystals, ceramic beads, Italian lambskin, a Czech button, and foundation material for a bracelet and a pendant.
For your In Person class you will need to have/bring needle and thread, E6000, a white gel pen, and small sharp scissors. BTLB has these available for purchase if you don't have them on hand.
