Date & Time of Class: Thursday, April 3rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at 1214 W Michigan Ave
Come and paint your very own customized bead components, then you will have the opportunity to work on making a finished piece of jewelry as well!
Outline:
- 15 min intro to the tools used for dot painting and instruction on the different techniques to create a dotted mandala
- Time for students to practice their new painting skills and go on to create their very own mandala patterns on chosen wooden pieces (see Supply Details)
- 30 minute demonstration using beads & other supplies from Beads to Live By Students will also have access to jewelry making tools so that they can work along to finish a piece if they choose to purchase bead supplies

Included in Class Fee:
- All tools and paint to create your wooden focal bead(s), provided for use in class by the instructor.
- Choice of a pair of wooden earing components or a larger piece for a pendant per registration fee.
Not Included:
- Plenty of beads and materials will be available for purchase to complete the jewelry to your individual taste. Students are also more than welcome to come visit in advance to pick out these supplies as well
- Please Note: Acrylic paint will be used and may stain clothing, feel free to bring your own apron. If interested, dotting toolkits may be purchased at the end of class as well.
No Previous Experience Required in painting or beading, beginners welcome!
There is a zero cancellation/transfer policy on class fees. If you register, please ensure ahead of time that you will be able to attend. If for any reason you are unable, you will receive the instructions or supplies (when applicable) and are free to work on the project independently at your leisure. This policy is in place to ensure our instructors are able to reserve a proper amount of time not only for teaching, but for developing their project and writing their pattern.
